A server for cloud-based WebRTC streaming can be launched in a few clicks on the well-known cloud hosting Digital Ocean using Web Call Server image in DigitalOcean Marketplace

Running Web Call Server on DigitalOcean in 9 steps

  1. Enter your DO account, follow this link to Flashphoner WebCallServer and press the button “Create Flashphoner Web Call Server Droplet”

  1. Choose the server performance and the pricing plan (for example, the smallest)

  1. Choose datacenter region

  1. Set servers quantity and name the server. The name will be set in /etc/hostname

  1. Press “Create droplet”

  1. As soon as the server is created, it will start automatically. Connect to server through SSH and, if one-time password was chosen on step 4, change it. A short description of Flashphoner WebCallServer with links to documentation will be displayed in the console

  1. Open the page https://droplet_ip:8444/admin/, where droplet_ip is server IP address, confirm security exception. Enter username demo and password demo

  3. Launch server using command 'service webcallserver start'
  4. Open the web interface https://host:8444 and activate your license
